Overview
Salary Assessor takes ERI's comprehensive market data of 10,000+ positions from thousands of industries located in over 9,000+ areas globally and provides salary professionals all the tools, information, and organization they need all in one place.
My role as the lead designer is to work with our compensation experts to create new ways for our clients to use the data in Salary Assessor and to assess and improve the user experience and interface of existing features.
This Case Study showcases one of the many features I helped create for the Economic Research Institute's most popular software product.
The Hybrid feature is used to analyze salaries from multiple industries, jobs, or areas to create custom data to fit business needs.
Small sample of the user journey and wireframing process
The goal of the hybrid feature is to take ERI's industry leading market data and giving our clients the ability to customize that data to exactly what they need. Clients can then create their own custom market data lists and company profiles within the salary assessor.

With the success of hybrid features, we were able to apply the same salary weighting functionality to other customization options such as Education, Premium Skills, Certifications, and Shift Work. Giving businesses a more accurate data set for whichever job position they need
The Impact
Increased customer satisfaction
Increased new business sign-ups
Increased subscription upgrades from current clients
